Birth, Death, Marriage and Civil Partnership Certificates

Thank you for accessing the Dudley MBC Registration Service website to apply for birth, death, marriage or civil partnership certificates. Register office records date back to 1837.
We can only supply these certificates relating to persons who were born, married, registered a civil partnership or died within the current Dudley Metropolitan Borough boundaries.
All certificates supplied are certified copies of the original register entries.
Note: Short copies of birth certificates are not suitable in all application processes, such as passports, and it may be more appropriate to order a standard copy.

Standard service

This service incurs a charge of:

  • £10.00 - for each short birth certificate
  • £10.00 - for each standard birth/death/marriage/civil partnership certificate

If the event has been registered recently (usually within a month) the cost is £7.00

Please allow 7 days for delivery of your certificates. Certificates are produced in 2-5 working days and sent by second class post. No liability will be accepted by Dudley MBC for non-delivered items.
